Critical product support:
Complete drafting responsibility for all AC valve and industrial products prior to release to internal manufacturing or external quote processes.
New product configuration for all AC valve line requests from OEMS and their Tier 1 suppliers.
Generate and maintain a living record of all AC valve validation testing for major OEM validation test batteries.
Technical sales support for all AC and industrial products, including AC charge valves and high-pressure air valves.
On-call SME for all AC valve products for any relevant warranty investigations.
Onsite and remote direct support for all major warranty claims from Tier 1 or OEM facilities.
Design and development responsibilities:
Complete design and drafting responsibility for new product inquiries.
Develop, test, and revise new products using evolving customer requirements.
Generate new design validations according to customer requirements for developing programs.
Identify critical features requiring statistical process control or other process control methods.
Define product critical characteristics for the product and process control plans.
Provide design feedback to OEM and Tier 1 customers based on mature industry standards.
Maintain, develop, and publish international standards for Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) systems. Many of the supported standards are adopted by US federal organizations including the EPA as safety standards, and are frequently used by the EU, China, and Japan for the MAC systems sold worldwide.

Support for design and manufacture of ISO 9001 and AS 9100:D compliant custom brushless DC motors and drives delivering a wide range of speed-torque capabilities at sub-micron accuracy.
Major responsibilities for quality management system compliance:
Generating & updating procedures, documents, and processes.
Conducting internal audits.
Ensuring product traceability.
Performing root cause analyses, identifying and implementing corrective & preventive actions and continual improvements.
Updating & maintaining process FMEAs.
Direct manufacturing support:
Defining Mastercam toolpaths & operations and providing operator training.
Leading Wire EDM diagnostics, machine maintenance, repair, operation, and operator training.
Maintaining manufacturing equipment through identification & replacement parts for obsolete equipment.
Repairing & revising existing fixtures and designing new fixtures.
Internal quality engineering duties:
Creating internal specifications for discontinued critical process materials and following through with replacement material identification, testing, validation, process control definition, and product integration.
Collaborating with purchasing to set and maintain minimum stock-on-hand quantities for critical materials.
Reviewing new product orders for manufacturing risks prior to order acceptance, and generating new fixture designs and process control documents when necessary.
Verifying design criteria against test and inspection data for first article inspections.
Specifying new electronic components according to customer requirements and integrating into production.
Design and product development accomplishments:
Design contributions to new full-ocean depth product line including system lifespan testing and the identification, testing, and process definition & control of new materials.
Designing jigs and fixtures to improve operator efficiency, ensure reliable inspections, and accommodate in-process testing.
Identifying, testing, and validation additive materials for new and existing fixture designs.
Utilized Solidworks for part modeling, assembly, and bills of material. Obtained compressed gas cylinder handling safety certification and trained on LabView data acquisition and Matlab data processing.
Performed high-speed digitization, image treatment and processing, and quality control of digital materials. Identified and sorted damaged materials, performed book-mending, sorted circulating materials for binding, quality checked incoming and outgoing binding shipments, trained new employees, and maintained interdepartmental equipment.
